First of all, lets learn a little history. Batman is actually the billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne. When he was 8 years old, he saw his parents robbed and murdered right in front of him. From that day on he vowed to fight crime. He went away when he was 18 to train in every way possible. He was trained by The League of Shadows in every a very intense regimen of physical and mental tests and practices. After a 5 year absence he returns to Gotham City, and accepts his massive family inheritance. Form then on, he became The Batman and now fights crime whenever possible.
Captain America's real name is Steve Rogers. A young man during World War II, he wanted to enlist in the army to help fight the Nazis like any other young man would do during that time. After constant rejection by the army because of his physical weakness, he began to lose hope. However, he caught the attention of Dr Emil Erskine who was in charge of making the "Super Soldier Serum" to create a next-gen soldier. After the test, a Nazi assassin took the life of the Dr, therefore eliminating the possibility to make any more super soldiers. Soon after, Captain America goes to Germany to take out "The Red Skull" who was in charge of the Nazi subgroup call the Third Reich. After constant battle, Captain America came out victorious.
Batman Captain America

While both have very similar attributes and powers, I think that Batman would win this epic battle. It would be very close and a very intense fight. But Batman would emerge victorious because of one deciding attribute, his unbreakable will. Although the fight would be pretty even, Batman would win because of his ability to never give up.
